Pilar Hinojo (Finuccio) was born and raised in Miami, FL. She is the daughter of a Cuban American family, the guardian of a dog name Roz, a support and collaborator of several communities, and a celebrator of all things subtropical. She is her best self in the company of others, and preferably sitting in the sun.

She studied graphic design in North Carolina and social design in New York City. Currently, she works as a a program manager at an organization called the Center for Urban Pedagogy (CUP). She lives in Brooklyn.
